The creative process can be slow and frustrating. Brainstorm documents this, showing several events that I have repeatedly experienced in my own creative work; the initial attempts to come up with an idea, the rejection of those attempts the realization that time has passed without much progress, giving up, then finally latching on to and gradually improving an idea.
