Dreamscapes is a look into the surreal worlds we create late at night. The disjointed, vague imagery invokes the confusing images that appear in dreams, while the harsh blue lighting is reminiscent of the way TV and phone screens light up empty rooms. All the images are slightly out-of-focus, reflecting how our memories of dreams often become "foggy."

Each still-life was constructed using objects from around my home. Many reflective objects, like glass and beads, were chosen to emphasis the light and further distort the final images. They were lit using a combination of an adjustable ring light and a flashlight. These sources were able to provide a temperature of light similar to digital screens, but significantly brighter, allowing for better exposure.
