This photoshoot was designed to both display a fashionable outfit and embody a character. The chosen clothes reside between formal and casual, so the photographs in turn create a sense of casual sophistication.
I curated the outfit alongside my model, Skipper, using clothes we already owned. It consisted of a black tank top, a red patterned button-up, slacks, loafers, and sliver jewelry including a cat necklace, a ring, and an ear cuff. Several props were also incorporated to further enhance the final product, including books and mugs. The final color palette and aesthetics take influence from early Baroque paintings, particularly those by Caravaggio.
